These items are required to enable basic website functionality.
Marketing
These items are used to deliver advertising that is more relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Advertising networks usually place them with the website operator’s permission.
Personalization
These items allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. For example, a website may provide you with local weather reports or traffic news by storing data about your current location.
Analytics
These items help the website operator understand how its website performs, how visitors interact with the site, and whether there may be technical issues. This storage type usually doesn’t collect information that identifies a visitor.
OUR TRANSPARENCY
We believe in  transparency, providing you with the opportunity to follow the path of each garment, ensuring it was ethically sourced, responsibly manufactured, and consciously produced.

Our commitment extends to utilising a diverse range of materials, including new fabrics, overstock fabric, and organic fibers, all thoughtfully chosen to minimize our environmental impact.
CREDITS
The longer you wear any of our products the more you save. We give you a percentage back on your pruchase once you send us your old product.
For every year you keep your product, you get 10% of the original purchase price in credit. If you bought our signature tee, for example, for £45 in 2019, you would get 20% (£9) credit back in 2021 upon return.
Once we recieve your items we decide if we can recycle it or repurpose it for future collections. In the future you could be wearing somehting you already used!

We keep a record of your previous purchases so you can check in your account for the current credits allocated.
FABRICS
Sustainably sourced materials are those that naturally have a lighter imprint on the environment, such as linen, or materials that are consciously produced in a more ethical or responsible manner. This definition is based on an assessment of the material’s full lifecycle.

The majority of our sustainably sourced materials are certified and verified by third-party standards: Organic Content Standard (OCS) and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for organic materials, Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) for recycled materials and the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) for wools.

SUPPLIERS
Much of the textile and apparel manufacturing industry is in countries where labour laws and labour market institutions are still developing and do not conform to international standards.

This presents the challenge of consistently ensuring good working conditions, improved wages, worker representation and development opportunities. We aim to play a proactive role in ensuring that the rights of workers in our supply chain are upheld, as well as advocating for wider changes in labour practices to enable systematic progress.

We want to be a force for positive change by creating good jobs and good working conditions. Together with our suppliers, we continually work to develop and improve our production supply chain while collaborating with a range of stakeholders to push for regulatory improvements and higher industry standards.

We are proud to share the names and locations of the people we collaborate with as well as other information about how our products are made.

By providing as much background and knowledge as possible, we want to simplify good choices and strengthen the relationship between our customers and our products.
Transport
About 70 percent of a garment’s environmental footprint comes from the production phase – from the fibre and raw material production and from spinning, dyeing, weaving, knitting and sewing – before it reaches the customer. The remaining part is a combination of transport, retail, laundry and the process of taking care of the product at the end of its use. Designing for a longer life and advancing the use of responsible and ethically produced materials are some of the main priorities in reducing our environmental footprint, and the areas where we can make the greatest difference.
PACKAGING
Simply put, we look for packaging that, over time, reduces its environmental footprint. We consider our packaging in number of ways:

Ingredients: Using raw 100% recycled or raw materials
Production process: By minimising the production process, supply chain and carbon footprint
Reusability: Aiding in creating a circular economy around the packaging, extending its lifecycle and usability.

When we send you our products all our packaging is recycled. From the shipping label to the tissue paper. For our swimwear, this arrives in a recycled cotton bag, you can repurpose this for shoes or flip-flops.
CARBON NEGATIVE
We consider the lifespan of our products. Not only do we offset the manufacture of our products but we also consider, and offset, how you are going to wear them, wash them and dispose of them.

Double up to make sure

This is a complex process and we have to make assumptions along the way. To make sure that we get it right we double our anticipated carbon output and use carbon credits to offset this amount.

Investing Carbon Emmisions

We invest the carbon emmisions of our products in coorperative projects that promote biodiversity, education, jobs, food security, clean drinking water and health & well-being in developing countries.
1% for the planet
Since our start, we  pledged 1% of sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment.
1% for the Planet is an alliance of businesses that understand the necessity of protecting the natural environment. They understand that profit and loss are directly linked to its health, and are concerned with the social and environmental impacts of industry.

If you're a business owner (or have any influence over your boss), please consider becoming a member of this socially and environmentally progressive group. By contributing 1% of total annual sales to grassroots environmental groups, members of 1% for the Planet affect real change.

And members receive other benefits: The satisfaction of paving the way for more corporate responsibility in the business community and the recognition, support and patronage of conscientious consumers who value serious commitment to the environment.
